Based on the proven AB.41 armoured car design, the AS.42 would provide Italian forces with vehicles inspired by the effective tactics of the British SAS and Long Range Desert Group who were wreaking havoc in the Axis rear areas, knocking out aircraft at airfields, providing valuable reconnaissance intelligence and destroying vital fuel dumps.
This vehicle is supplied with parts to make either a Sahariana or Metropolitana along with a pintle-mounted 47mm anti-tank gun, two medium machine guns and three Arditi crew figures. Also included are a Bolt Action stat card and vehicle damage markers.
