The Abraham Lincoln Battalion was an organization of volunteers from the United States that integrated units of the International Brigades in support of the Second Spanish Republic during the Civil War. By extension, all the forces coming from the United States integrated into the XV International Brigade were called the Lincoln Brigade. Most of its components were members of the Communist Party of the United States or affiliated with other labor organizations of socialist inspiration.
