Italian Airborne with German weapons

Well trained and superbly equipped for their role, the Italian Paratroopers shored up the reputation of the Italian fighting man, which had been tarnished so badly by massive early British victories.

Though usually armed with large allocations of Berretta SMGs and light machine guns, such is the nature of war that any weapon of avail was to prove of deadly use, no matter their origin.
