How to make miniatures water effect

One popular approach is to use a two-part epoxy resin. This is a clear liquid that hardens into a solid, glossy finish when mixed with a hardener. When poured onto a surface, it can create the appearance of still aqua or waves, depending on how it's applied.

To use the clear epoxy resin, it is important to first create a container using resin-cast frames to be able to pour it and prevent it from flowing out of the desired location.
